When my child was very young right after separation - MacDonalds was the pretty much an all-purpose place to go in-between dance classes, after-school pickup, before Brownies/Girl Guides, for a reasonable/cheap weekend pancake breakfast and of course "free toys" with the kids meal - plus the activity rooms!  (always a good idea during long, cold, dark winters).

I always noticed alot of solo fathers with their kid/s.

So I was interested to see this post with a UK Dad.

I still think MacDonalds deserves some positive recognition for these welcoming moves for Dads - (despite concerns about the menu).
