20 years later - nothing but pain
20 years ago Eileen Clark left her husband in Albuquerque NM and took their 2 kids with her. He never saw them again and appeared on Dr. Phil to plead for their safe return.
In Dec 2014 she plead guilty in exchange for no jail and being allowed to return to England where her now adult kids lived after she established them there.
The father does not know them - nor them him - and chance for any relationship seems unlikley.
South Korea baby exporter?
This article caught my attention as I was not aware of the history - but I found it interesting as (of course) a large part of the cause was 1) rigid Christian mores in South Korea post-1960 2) the rapid economic development in Asia and 3) growing baby-crisis in America as "Population Bomb" rhetoric was promoted in America at same time - leading to many couples abandoning/postponing child-rearing choice until it was too late.
That demographic "shadow" has had global consequences - and it continues today. I place the blame for these heart-aches squarely on Feminism.

US: Chelsea Clinton being groomed for Congress
No surprises here - especially after Prime Minister Zoolander - this headline says it all.
But this article focuses on one particular reason why Hillary lost - "Superficial Progressivism packaged as Real Social Justice".

St John's NL Women's Shelter questioned on spending/poor oversight
A CBC Investigative Report focused on dubious spending and questionable management practices at "Iris Kirby House" - a Women's Refuge in St John's NL that receives C$2 million per year in funding from the Province.
Overall, the comptroller general's office found "a number of concerns" related to financial oversight and controls.
"When an organization lacks proper segregation of duties or other compensating controls, it is more vulnerable to the risk of fraudulent activity," the report noted.CBC News obtained a partially-redacted version of the document through access to information.
The comptroller general's office dedicated two-and-a-half pages of the 14-page report to Tobin's compensation.
Iris Kirby House CEO Gail Tobin, says the financial report contains "numerous inaccuracies" and she has hired a lawyer. (CBC)
- Questions were raised over Executive Compensation.
- A new Board member was "surprised and disappointed" by many things in the Comptroller Generals Report.
- The finding showed expenses that "were not a good use of money".
- Executive Director Gail Tobin is "away from the office on an extended medical leave".
- Unnamed consultant was paid $177,000 for Staff Development in 2015 but there was not written report available contrary to the agreement.
- The Comptrollers Report also highlighted spending on "travel, alcohol and meals".
- Thousands of Gift Cards were distributed without details on who/what the recipient used it for.
The report followed years of questionable financial reporting covered by the local CBC journalists.
This is not a surprise as "Math is Hard" for Feminists and sticking to a schedule and being accountable for expenses are well-recognized aspects of "patriarchal oppression". In the U.S it is well acknowledged * that VAWA programs exhibit poor program compliance and weak financial accountability.

"Auditors have documented a long-standing pattern of financial mismanagement of VAWA-funded programs.
The Government Accountability Office has repeatedly documented shortcomings in program oversight by the Office of Violence Against Women (OVW),
including “inconsistent documentation and the lack of systematic data,”50 poor quality evaluations that “raise concerns
about whether the evaluations will produce definitive results,”51 and lack of program utilization data that would be
“consistent and reliable enough for analysis of the specific information required.”52
Likewise the DoJ Office of the Inspector General has documented wide-scale financial mismanagement, both by
recipients of OVW grants 53,54,55 and by the Office on Violence Against Women itself. 56 More than a year after the
irregularities were identified, the problems remained unresolved. 57
Finally, reports have been received of embezzlement of VAWA funds 58 and falsification of federal financial reports" 59

2016 Presidental Election: Go TRUMP
Today is Election Day in America. Go TRUMP!
One of the most remarkable things about this Election has been the collusion of the Press. It is not new but the degree of anger and disappointment by the public against the Mainstream Media has been a special turning point.
In this interview Mollie Hemingway gives her opinion on Donald J. Trump calling-out a NBC News Reporter for what he believes is biased coverage. Of course it became a reported-upon incident used to discredit Trump - so the charge remains. But I think that it is fair that the Reporter - Katy Tur - is perfectly justified in defending herself once Trump introduced the issue. However, Hemingway makes a GREAT point:

“There’s a contract in play, and the way we treat each other is part of that contract,” Hemingway said. “The media have done a lot to hurt that social contract."
“When people break that social contract, you do expect to see people start to boo back,” she said. “The sensitivity and defensiveness that we’re seeing among media people, when they’ve done so much to destroy civil discourse and to disparage the views of so many people, I’m not that impressed that we’re getting that upset by it.”

Rolling Stone found GUILTY
Finally the TRUTH is out. Jackie Erdley - fake journalist for Rolling Stone mag - was found guilty of Defaming University of Virginia Dean of Students Nicole Eramo over their false article depicting an alleged on-campus rape.
IMHO this is a critical turning point for Feminism as it marks the beginning of its fall from the unassailable mendacity it has displayed for 50 years.
The Cliterati was outraged that the flimsy journalism was not accepted without question - and were it just the Greek Fraternity on campus at risk the University likely would have quietly thrown them under the bus and drove on - but Ms Eramo was outraged at the slander that SHE was indifferent to the crime and vowed to fight the magazine for their fabrications.
Of course it was not really the University who suffered - it was the young men on-campus who were demonized for something that NEVER HAPPENED. [Below is MSNBC video of Rad Feminist Chloe Angyal at Feministing.com thanking a LIAR for confirming her bias of half the world.]
During the examination for this case it became clear that MANY of the claims by Erdley had serious journalistic errors including Rule #1 "If your Mom tells you she loves you - check it out".
1) College Award on Michelle Shocked
2) Catholic Church's Secret Sex Crime
What primed the media community to accept such a fiction. Christina Hoff-Sommers points out it was a coordinated propaganda program initiated by the (so-called) Center for Public Integrity but almost immediately endorsed and adopted WITHOUT Question by Russlynn Ali - U.S Ass. Sec of Education and which prompted the (now infamous) Dear Colleague letter of April 2011.
And Ramz Paul had another take on this travesty of journalism.

Female Guard treated inmate as sex-slave
44-year-old man, Steven Moerman, was imprisoned on drug charges but alleges a "baby-mad" female prison counselor - Susan Lee Clingerman - with whom he fathered a child used him as "a virtual sex slave, demanding sexual gratification at her whim".
Clingerman claims she was having a consensual sexual relationship with Moerman, who fathered the child she gave birth to in April 2015. In a statement, Clingerman said she knew she "could get into trouble—including firing" for the relationship but did not know she "could be prosecuted for this."
Under the federal Prison Rape Elimination Act, however, prisoners cannot legally consent to sex with prison employees because of the inherent power imbalance. Thus, any prison guard, counselor, or other employee who has sex with a prisoner, no matter how theoretically willing that prisoner is, opens themselves up to liability for sexual assault.
This article is one of a series by Reason.com Journalist Elizabeth Nolan Brown on the prevalence of Law Enforcement/Corrections Officers preying on the vulnerable.
