Tom Martin - is LSE teaching misandry?
I just found out that a fellow in the UK - Tom Martin - launched a lawsuit against the London School of Economics for sex discrimination by the University's very own "Gender Institute".
Tom has filed 200 pages of evidence, in a damages claim at the Central London County Court, for 'sex discrimination, breach of contract, misleading advertising, misrepresentation, and breach of The Gender Equality Duty Act'.I just found out that his case had been set for Jan 30, 2012 but has been rescheduled to March 13.
This lawsuit seems very similar to American Attorney - Roy Den Hollander's (failed) attempt in 2010 to prove sex discrimination against New York Bars for "Ladies Night" promotions which allowed female patrons to enter free while men had to pay a cover charge.
I wish them luck.

New Male Studies: An International Journal, Vol, Issue 1
I recently received notice of a new journal - and it has considerable input from Canadian and Australian academics - including Katherine K. Young and Paul Nathanson who have written a 3 volume set (and counting as Vol 4 in production) on Misandry.
Many of the contributors were part of last years 2nd Conference of Male Studies held April 23, 2011 at Wagner College, Staten Island NY - and that established a Foundation for Male Studies. Dr. Miles Groth is Editor.

2012 Predictions - a sampling
I don't tend to look for this fluff - but the media does - and it is kinda fun.
• I predict that the Republicans will win the Presidential election. [Whew! That is a relief - but who? Paul, Gingrich or ?]
• A member of royalty will die in a car crash within 6 months. [I suggest the most likely to be Prince Harry on DUI]
• Another US leading politician in a sex scandal. This time an easterner. [Was this before Herman Cain?}
But these barely even qualify as predictions at this point:
• I predict a baby for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this year. [Duh - rumours already flying about]
• I predict that the Euro will drop below $1.25US before the end of May. [This barely qualifies as it is already 1.30!]
• I predict that both Greece and Portugal will default this year. [Again - Duh]
• Middle East tensions will greatly escalate in the fall. [When doesn't this happen?]

How does rampant porn effect society?
Committed leftist -Naomi Klein - presents a typical feminist approach to pornification but with a twist - her mother and Andrea DWORKIN was only half right.
A porn saturated culture does not lead to violence by young men - it is much worse than that for the sisterhood - it leads to disinterested lassitude about sex with "real women".
This same discussion took place here about recent film that examines "sex addiction".
And then this appears in my news feed just now - how police "repression" exposes prostitutes to ever greater dangers.
How is it that under feminism, sexuality - a natural intimacy reserved for our ultimate survival - has become a criminal offense?

Some good news
UN Agency for Women Mired by Lack of Funds
Wanted $500 million - so far $442 million short.
It seems that countries feel this "new" agency is duplicating other effort - plus there is a global crisis going on.
And - then this:
These groups have operated for decades with out proper oversight - and with this kind of news they are about to get their come-uppance.
Did this have to happen?
Mount Rainier ranger shooting: Iraq veteran found dead.
Returned from Iraq.
Wife gets a restraining order.
New Years party gets him liquored up.
Gun's in his car? (probably because he is living in it!)
The cops send the SWAT team in.
What do you think is going to happen?
