Was Mass-Murder Anders Breivik effected by childhood neglect?

I saw this interesting article about a new book that suggests Anders Breivik suffered psychological trauma from his mother's neglect when he was a child.

"Breivik suffered from grov omsorgsvikt, literally a severe lack of childcare from responsible adults that may well have led to the hate, anger and lack of empathy that characterize him as an adult."
