20 years is enough wailing and gnashing of teeth

Again, Johnathon KAY has nailed it - here (How did the École Polytechnique anniversary get transformed into a festival of cynical, hyperfeminist propaganda?) - and has managed to juxtapose the hypocrisy of feminists who elevate the murder of innocents into a gender war.

KAY discloses that he was actually nearby at McGill studying Engineering at the same time - and he or his colleagues (male & female) never considered it a "female" tragedy. Despite my distance from the event at the time, it was exactly my feelings as well. He concludes:

Lépine was a one-off, mentally disturbed child-abuse victim and social reject who conjured bizarre conspiracy theories about women he'd never met — in the same evil way that Virginia Tech gunman Seung-Hui Cho said he hated "rich kids" and "charlatans." To connect his views to the prejudices and allegedly misogynistic policies of society-at-large is absurd. Yet every December 6, this is exactly what many commentators do.

This event is beginning to generate more adverse press every year and I think it is starting to be self-defeating propaganda.  How is it that changes in treatment have not adopted new, more effective protocols?   They are being held back by the feminist intellectual ghetto.
